SINK OR SWIM - There are those who can not, or will not fit in. Determined to leave this dried up and cowed society on land and strike off into, well, deep water. A place where a man can get lost, or get found. Where there is room for the soul. It is supposed to be inhospitable, dangerous, a place to be cautious of. And that is what draws us to it. It is a place to test oneself. To see if you are worth your salt. When your feet no longer touch the bottom. Will you sink or will you swim?

 

OPINIONATED PASSION - This film is essentially the Albee Layer documentary, directed by Dan Norkunas of Take Shelter Productions and produced by JuneShine Hard Kombucha. As they state, Opinionated Passion is “a glimpse into the pragmatic and polarizing persona that is Albee Layer.”

 

NU RYTHMO - Surfer Michael February, writer and filmmaker Sam Smith, photographer Alan Van Gysen, and cinematographer Wade Carroll land in West Africa to explore the local music scene plus the rhythms and pacing of a sand-bottom point wave.

 

AND TWO IF BY SEA - Coming from nothing, the Hobgood's brotherly antagonism pushed the other to becoming two of the most iconic professional surfers in the world. A cinematic tale of fate, destiny, and family.

IN DANCING DAYS OF DAWN - This film is a children’s book style narrative that follows the travels of two characters around the world with their passions of art and wave riding. It is a story about embracing change and learning how we can use our talents for things much greater than ourselves.

 

AQUAMANTRA - Lana Lane Studio, Kaka’ako Art District in Honolulu, Hawai’i to the series of record breaking swells in Indo. Young Hawaiian surfer Noah Mizuno was guided by legendary underground sound artist in search of good sound to go with epic swell.
